'American Idol's' Casey James on being the new 'Bachelor': 'Sign me up!'
Is it possible "The Bachelor" may actually get a marriage soon? Well, it may not be between contestants, but a marriage of wildly popular reality shows.
"Bachelor" host, Chris Harrison started a frenzy in June when he tweeted, "Casey James just agreed to be our next Bachelor. He is allowed a guitar!"
Well,Cutie Casey recently spoke with OK! magazine while on the troubled "American Idol" concert tour and they filled him in on what the job would entail: Picking from a bevy of bachelorette beauties.
"Oh, God, that sounds horrible!" The Season 9 finalist joked. "Sign me up!"
Once the apple of "American Idol" judgeKara DioGuardi's eye, it sounds like James is single and ready to mingle. So, what qualities would the handsome musician look for in the bachelorettes?
"Confident and kind," he says. "I don't necessarily have a type as far as looks go, but I love a sense of humor."
