'American Idol': Bucky Covington presents '5th Grader' money to Arthritis Foundation
"American Idol" finalist Bucky Covington gave a nice Christmas present to the Tennessee chapter of the Arthritis Foundation -- a check for $25,000.
Prior to his Dec. 29 concert at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, Bucky Covington presented the Arthritis Foundation with the winnings from his appearance on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" earlier this year.
Bucky then treated the packed house to performances of "It's Good to Be Us," "I'll Walk" and a new track off his upcoming album "I'm Alright" entitled "Mexicoma." Mmmm, margaritas.
Currently Bucky is on a small tour that includes stops in Winston-Salem, Indianapolis, Baltimore and Birmingham. His album "I'm Alright" drops sometime in early 2010 -- the exact date has yet to be announced.
